After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley,driving across Khardong-la (alt:18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deski. Overnight in a camp.
After breakfast explore Deskit ,Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel.Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Enroute worth visiting Shey Palace, complex are structures located on a hillock in Shey, 15 kilometres to the south of Leh in Ladakh, northern India on the Leh-Manali road. In the past Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh.and Thikse monasteries, is a gompa associate with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in Thiksey village, approximately 19 kilometres east of Leh in Ladakh.Further up hill drive from Upsi crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). you will descend towards Pangong lake can be seen from a distance once you are nearer to the Lake. After breakfast and reminisce to Upsi. Cross the river Indus by jollying a deep gorge uphill drive will take you the biggest monastery of this region called Hemis. Hemis festival is famous for its mask dance and the longest Tanka rituals. Hemis Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery(gompa)of the Drukpa Lineage, located in Hemis, Ladakh, India. Situated 45 km from Leh, the monastery was re-established in 1672 by the Ladakhi king Sengge Namgyal. Explore the best of this monastery and drive back to Leh.
